Globat the thief
Oh man! If you are a Globat customer then you must be irritated by “Thank you for contacting Globat Support. A support agent will assist you shortly”. In case you are not one, let me try to explain this. Call the “customer support” line and you will hear this line, fair enough. However you just can’t imagine the waiting time each time. Last time I remembered a prompt response was after 15 minutes. Can you believe it? Just believe your site is down with errors and lack of services from the hosting company side and when you call them up to rectify the same, you get a response in this form. The problems I face is not only with customer support. Most of the times my site is down, it take ages in loading up, uploading has become a nightmare. And hacking is regular. I just do not understand what they are charging us for? Globat turned out to be a thief.

Not worth the benefits
I must say that Globat is fair as long as you have no errors or nothing goes wrong. In my case my site was hacked and now I find I can’t even change my password or edit any section of my site. As a customer I tried to reach customer support services and to my disguise they were of no help. In fact, the tech support is pathetic and I will surely change my hosting.

CS and Tech Support Lacking
I must say that I am a very patient and understanding individual but somehow Globat achieved to blow me off. Whenever I had difficult issues and problems there so called “customer support” managed to ignore me very smartly. I’ve been using their hosting for years and this is my first time that their services and support declined to me. Not good when your site is an ecommerce site. Although they are friendly and polite but they tend to postpone calls and problems and are too lazy to react to any issued creating a menace for the user. They have stages of customer support and since most of my queries are database related it takes a lot of time for me to reach their stage three customer support and most of the times I am kept waiting. I strongly believe they need to improve upon their customer services.

htaccess problems
Please note that Globat is not a host for projects that require htaccess. The problem is so pissing; it took days to figure out how to configure htaccess to work properly. The customer support of Globat is too lazy and unreliable and it amazes me when they hint to find solution from other means. A strict “NO” to everyone.
