Yahoo is one of the biggest host among the world of webhosting. For beginners it is best host that they can ever have. I run about 12 websites using this yahoo webhosting, causing me great profits. Merchant plan is little tricky but you will learn it in very less time.

Well no surprises here. I have been hosting with them for a couple of weeks now and no doubt about it they are bunch of sore losers. They just want to rip off money from clients and never give them back anything. They offer basic web designing tools but their support is awfully bad. They do have the best up times and best servers but if you have glitches the support is non existent. You can not find a customer care representative until you are ready to buy something. They offer email but it never ever works. I have hosted two websites and none of their email works. They plan to offer IM but I just wonder what it is going to be like. It would be as pathetic as the rest of their services. Please do not go for yahoo web hosting.

Absolutely no support

Talking about yahoo it will fetch you nothing; use any other host but not yahoo. They don’t take care of their customer problems. You have to wait for long to get response of your calls and emails. Even then there is no surety that your problem will be solved, sometimes they don’t even look to your problems.

I have been hosting with yahoo for 3 years solid and have never faced a glitch till now. Their uptimes are 99.9999% and the servers are fast. Have never faced a situation where a server crashed or email server went down. They are one of the cheapest on the market and their customer care support on the web is good. I have never faced any billing issues and their online tutorials and help sites are amazing. With the anticipated arrival of IM it is going to be the best web hosting service ever. I just hope it doesn’t get over crowded. I guess that is being selfish. I would encourage everybody to join yahoo web hosting service and enjoy the simplest and most happening hosting service.

After hearing too much about yahoo, I started using their services. But with its devastating problems it becomes so difficult for a person to use it easily. Their customer care services are negligible, you don’t even know whether your problems will be heard or not. They don’t respond to your calls and emails for a long time to solve your problem. They sometimes don’t take your problems seriously so forget about solving them. Can you imagine that my disk quota limit exceeded on my unlimited account which results in locking of the same. Even after removing surplus data from my account, it doesn’t start working. Uploading to site is very difficult and most of the times I cannot contact yahoo server. Accessing account is creating such problem, forget about the live sites. So take my advice don’t switch to yahoo, many other services are available.

Well we chose to use yahoo after having a terrible experience with no name web hosting service that was being run out of china. Shelling out 12 $ a month was tough for me but we did it anyhow and expected top service. But it is not so. The mail servers are down during peak hours and servers crash at least once a month. Customer care though professional is extremely busy and forget about getting through phone lines. They are always jammed. SPAM control is over anxious and screens out almost everything. It’s a bad service and I would not recommend it.

Well they charge too high and offer too less. The website design tools are basic and the text cannot be justified at all. The customer care is always busy and the automatic support is too complex to even understand. I would recommend them for personal pages or bulletin boards but for nothing else. Their domain has a big [problem. You lose your domain name if you do not logon to email it was created under. So not a good choice for any sort of web hosting.

I found technical faults while accessing my web hosting control panel. Customer satisfaction cannot be seen while using this host, take too long to solve your problems. I was assured that someone would call me or reply me within 2 to 3 days, when I report them about my problem. But even after a long wait, there is no reply from their side. This host is causing me huge loses as my site is needed to be modified regularly but with this host I don’t think that it is possible.
